A superior film about 2 women caught up in their own poverty, and forced to reach out and embrace the lucrative enterprise of human smuggling. A dangerous undertaking because of the obvious chance that on the Frozen River the ice could very well crack and the risk of drowning and or freezing to death are very real. This is a tight film, well written and directed and very well acted by the entire cast. I enjoyed this film very much and give 5/5 *****STARS. I highly recommend it.
